Stacy sharing what’s on her reading list.

Who are you as a person and a healer? What drew you to the work that you do?

I am a mom’s mom! My entire work, personal and professional, is about motherhood right now. But don’t be fooled, that includes who I am as a person outside of motherhood just as much as inside.

I launched my practice as a response to the pandemic (as did many other therapists!). Going through the early days of the pandemic with a one-year-old and watching my friends have babies and quit their jobs and become teachers to their kindergarteners really hit hard. There was no more hiding the invisible labor of mothers, and I knew I had to respond with my work to support my fellow moms.

What kind of healing work do you offer?

In my practice, I support mothers with self-advocacy and the meeting of their needs, self-identity growth in addition to motherhood, the balance of the mental load and invisible labor, tuning back into their mom gut and intuition, creation and building of their village of support, communication with their partners, and attachment with their children.

My clients are burnt out, overstimulated, and overwhelmed mothers who want more from motherhood but don’t know how to get there. Most are millennial moms of young children aged 0-6, but I see mothers in all stages of motherhood, even pre-contemplative. My training and certification include intensive perinatal mental health training via Postpartum Support International-sanctioned program, Fair Play Method facilitator certification, Circle of Security attachment parenting certification, and a long history with TF-CBT, play therapy, and systems approaches. Additionally, I offer attachment-informed parent coaching.

And lastly, I’m a therapist marketing mentor! My undergraduate degree is in marketing and communications and I find applying that information in 2026 challenging and exciting. I love working with therapists to mentor their marketing and niche development plans in private practice!

What lights you up in the work that you do?

Mothers of young children are so vulnerable in 2026. They are facing societal pressures of supermom syndrome and intensive mothering, and recovering from a lifetime of giving to others while sacrificing themselves along the way. I am passionate about this work because we live in a society that is not passionate about supporting mothers, so I feel it’s my calling to do so.

What does “community” mean to you as a healer or wellness professional?

Community means a village of support and looks a lot different for mothers in 2026 than our grandmothers experienced. In modern motherhood, we may have to outsource our village, or it may be virtual, or it may be strictly communicated in memes. But community for mothers exist, and we need to lean in now more than ever.

Is there something about your philosophy, training, or style that sets your work apart?

I keep coming to this work because I AM this work. I am a millennial mother experiencing all the same things as my clients. I am living this alongside them and that gives me a unique perspective into their journey.

Additionally, I am not a therapist that is going to yell “you just need self-care, mama!” and tell them to ask for help. I’m going to deep dive how they got into this situation in the first place - the history of the patriarchy, feminism, and female roles in our society, and slowly encourage my clients to look outside themselves and finally acknowledge that the burnout and overwhelm they experience isn’t their fault, but they can do something about it. That’s where we start with self-advocacy work. Their voice is their superpower, and I don’t see many other therapists telling mothers that.

Who is the type of client that would benefit most from working with you?

Any mother, anywhere, anytime! As noted above, especially millennial mothers of young children, but it’s never too early or too late for a woman to open her eyes to her path - both where she came from and where she’s going.

What are you currently excited about in your work?
New offerings, programs, workshops, or directions you’re exploring.

I plan to host a free workshop coming up about the mental load and finding self-identify in motherhood, so stay tuned for that! I also just scheduled my next cohort of The Niche Network, my marketing and niche development group for therapists looking to hone in their marketing plan. We start April 17 and enrollment is open!

And stay tuned for my next collaboration with Jasmine of Bud to Bloom Play Therapy. We co-host Therapist Vision Lab and our next event will be this summer!

Thank you Stacy, for sharing your work and a little about you 🩷
