How Wings of Strength Began

What began as artwork reflecting on launching children slowly evolved into something deeper: the realization that the nest she was building was also for herself.

Through therapy, reflection, and art, the metaphor expanded.

Wings do not simply appear.
They strengthen somewhere.

In therapy rooms.
In brave conversations.
In art studios.
In community spaces.
In the courageous act of beginning again.

This Mental Health Awareness Month series honors the healers who hold space and the individuals who are doing the brave work of healing.

3745 Foundry Way, Suite 149,

St. Louis, MO 63110

The Healers’ Nest is a restorative, hands-on workshop designed to honor and support those who care for others. Through guided reflection and a meaningful creative process, you will build your own symbolic nest—representing the structures, boundaries, and sources of nourishment that sustain you in your work and your life.

Together, we’ll explore what it means to create a safe and secure “home base” within ourselves—one we can return to between sessions, seasons, and life’s demands.

This experience includes:

  • Guided reflection and gentle facilitation

  • Creation of a personal take-home nest using natural and symbolic materials

  • Exploration of boundaries, self-trust, and sustainable care

  • A quiet, supportive space to reconnect with yourself

This workshop is for therapists, healers, and helpers of all kinds who are ready to tend to themselves with the same care they offer others.

Because strong wings need a place to rest.

$35.00

Wednesday, May 6

6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

3745 Foundry Way, Suite 149,

St. Louis, MO 63110

Breaking Patterns & Building Nests is a thoughtful and nuanced panel conversation exploring the courage it takes to move beyond what is expected in order to create a life rooted in safety, self-worth, and authentic connection.

Together, our panelists will explore:

  • How to recognize when relationships are no longer safe or supportive

  • The emotional complexity of setting boundaries or creating distance from family

  • The role of therapy in supporting these deeply personal decisions

  • What it looks like to build a “chosen nest” of care, connection, and belonging

This conversation is not about blame or quick answers—it’s about honoring the complexity of these experiences while offering language, validation, and hope.

Whether you are navigating these questions yourself or supporting others who are, you are welcome here.

You are allowed to choose a life that feels safe.

Winged Harmonies is a gentle, immersive closing ceremony—an invitation to soften, to let go of what no longer serves you, and to create space for what is emerging.

Guided by soothing sound vibrations, this experience offers:

  • A space to release past hurts, tension, and emotional residue

  • An opportunity to integrate the reflections and experiences of the series

  • A grounding, calming environment to reconnect with your body and breath

  • A quiet invitation to step forward with strength, clarity, and self-trust

No prior experience is needed—simply come as you are, and allow yourself to be held in sound.

As we close this chapter, we honor what has been released… and welcome the strength of new wings.

A question to take with you

Sometimes the answer is therapy.
Sometimes community.
Sometimes art.
Sometimes the quiet courage to begin again.

Where do your wings find strength?
